Grewal Signs CPL Development Contract
VICTORIA, B.C. – Highlanders FC are pleased to announce that Sachdev Grewal has signed a development contract with Pacific FC of the Canadian Premier League. The goalkeeper is a member of the Highlanders’ Residency Program.
Grewal spent last season with the Highlanders’ Pacific Coast Soccer League Second Team where he helped them clinch the George Cambidge Memorial trophy as the regular season champions and came runner up in the Challenge Cup Finals. He was also a member of the 2019 Jackson Cup winning Westcastle United under head coach Thomas Niendorf. The ‘keeper is a member of the Vancouver Island Soccer League’s Westcastle United through the Highlanders partnership with the VISL Division One side. He plays U21 so he has the chance to play between Westcastle United in Division One and the Highlanders Second Team in Division Two of the VISL.
Grewal will be on the active roster as early as this afternoon when Pacific FC takes on Forge FC.
