HIGHLANDERS ANNOUNCE APPAREL PARTNERSHIP WITH MACRON

The Victoria Highlanders FC has announced a multi-year agreement with Macron to serve as official apparel provider for the Highlanders Football Club.

"This is an exciting partnership for the Highlanders,” stated Moreno Stefani, Highlanders co-owner and Team Sales Vancouver Island president. "Macron is a premier athletics provider. Our teams will be unified through wearing top quality gear while proudly representing the Highlanders brand."

Co-owners Moreno Stefani and Mark deFrias announced the agreement on Friday morning at the headquarters of Macron in Bologna, Italy. The deal covers all uniforms and apparel worn by the Highlanders as well as merchandise related to the fan shop.

“Macron strongly believes in the values of hard work and constant improvement,” stated Gianluca Pavanello, Macron CEO. “Sport requires effort, sweat and strong will and we see those values matched in the Highlanders FC new ownership. We look forward to growing our footprint in North America and supplying the best technical products to help improve their performance.”

Macron is now one of the sportswear brands with the most rapid growth in Europe. Macron has over 120 stores across the world and sponsors 50 professional soccer clubs, including Stoke City, Crystal Palace, SS Lazio, Bologna FC, Sporting Lisbon, Deportivo La Coruña and Hibernians to name a few.
