On Saturday, July 2nd, the Victoria Highlanders made the long trek to Kamloops to play against Rivers FC. They Highlanders, picking up their first point of the season last weekend, were hungry to get their first win on the road.

The visiting Highlanders would strike early, scoring in the 6th minute of the game off the foot of forward, Kiara Kilbey.
