Victoria, BC - With the Highlanders season now in full swing, we take a look at five tips that can make the fan experience that much better for the rest of the season.

1 - Island Savings Deal

To cap off our list of fan tips for the ultimate fan experience, our title partner Island Savings has proven once again why they are such a great partner. For the remainder of the season kids 12 and under enter free into Highlander’s home matches courtesy of Island Savings. Bring out the family and enjoy a sunny afternoon at the park!

2 - Arrive Early
Thanks to the unwavering support of our wonderful fans, please arrive with at least 30 minutes to spare ahead of Kick Off as to find parking and to enter the stadium to find your seat in preparation for an exciting match.

3 - Sunny Days
With the wonderful weather that Victoria provides, sunny days can be expected. With the roof open we recommend that fans bring out their hats and sunglasses not to mention some sunscreen. Shaded areas will be provided for fans that need a break from the sun. With Centennial’s windy days make sure to bring an extra jacket just in case.

4 - Food Trucks
If you didn’t have a chance to try some of the wonderful food at our Home Opener there is still a chance all season at our next six home games, starting this Friday versus Lane United.

5 - Transportation and Parking
The Highlanders play at Centennial Stadium on University of Victoria’s (UVic) campus. The parking is right beside the stadium and is free on Sundays. For games on Friday and Saturdays parking will require a small fee so arrive early enough to avoid any pre-game stress. There are multiple methods of transportation to Centennial Stadium aside from driving. Multiple bus routes arrive at UVic’s Bus Loop and are within a five minute walk of the Highlander’s stomping grounds.

In addition, with a sunny weekend expected nothing could be better than riding your bike out to the game. If any of your friends are worried that they won’t be able to make it out to the match due to transportation, catch a ride with a friend!

The Highlanders are back in action this Friday May 25th at Centennial Stadium versus Lane United. Kick Off is at 6:35 PM. For more tickets and more information,  please visit www.highlandersfc.ca.
