Quotes: Highlander’s Jack Napier-Ganley
On the importance of finishing this season with a win…
“Looking back on the year, when I found out the schedule and saw our last game was at home, I was pretty excited for that because no matter what you get to finish the season at home in front of friends and family and the fans, hopefully on a high note. It’ll be really nice to have that opportunity, to go get a win at home and finish the season as well as we can. We’re looking forward to it for sure.”
On the amazing support from the fans all season long…
“It’s been great having friends and family out. Especially the Lake Side Buoys, who even travelled to Kamloops with us last time we played Rivers FC. We appreciate the support we’ve had throughout the season, away and at home, it’s always nice to have the support and see people out there cheering for us.”
Player to watch: Kensho Ando
A defensive menace all season long, Kensho Ando has proven to be one of the best defensive midfielders in the league. His ability to close space, make tackles, and win possession gives Kensho the edge in almost any 1v1 scenario, and makes him our player to watch in the final game of the season!
