Sachi Swift joins VHFC Women’s program

Victoria, B.C. - Victoria Highlanders FC are pleased to announce Sachi Swift’s commitment to the 2022 women’s roster for the inaugural L1BC season.

"I am extremely excited to participate in this upcoming high performance and competitive league", commented Swift. "My objectives include improving my tactical abilities on all fronts. I know I will be facing a lot of fast and dynamic players, so I will need to be agile in the attacking third, as well as positively contribute to a healthy team atmosphere on and off the field".

Sachi joins the Highlanders with a vast experience in midfield with the former Quest University Kermodes and Lakehill FC. Sachi Swift will be a dynamic option for head coach Neil Sedgwick in the midfield to compete in L1BC.

“Sachi is an attacking-minded midfielder who loves to get on the dribble", said assistant coach Wes Barrett. "She is a local player and will be a great addition to the team”.

The Highlanders are fortunate to have a local talent such as Sachi on the team, and are looking forward to seeing her take the pitch!
